Care Partners of SWFL was founded to fill a void in the market by providing exceptional IN PERSON senior citizen services to our local community. When you call us you will be connected to one of us, who live and work in this local area. Unlike national call centers, we are intimately familiar with our local Senior living communities! With decades of actual hands-on experience in our communities and others like them, our team of healthcare professionals and senior consultants led by licensed individuals who have dedicated their careers to our local communities. Through this local experience we have tailored personal offerings to meet the evolving needs of our clients and their families. At Care Partners of SWFL, we believe in taking a holistic approach to senior citizen services. Rick Kellar
Introduction
Rick Kellar is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 35 years of combined experience in caregiving, leadership, and service. A proud resident of Venice, Florida, Rick has built a diverse career that spans several key roles, from Law enforcement administration to Emergency Medical Services and Healthcare administration. As a caring father, a retired Law enforcement officer, an EMS Chief and Director of Nursing, Rick has consistently chosen careers that allow him to care for others, making a lasting impact in every role he’s held.
Qualifications and Certifications
Rick holds a compact nursing license as a Licensed Practical Nurse and is a licensed Assisted Living Administrator through the Florida C.O.R.E. program. As an Emergency Medical Services Chief, he was also Certified as an A-EMT III Critical Care Technician. This certification further reflects his expertise in emergency medical care. Throughout his career, Rick has demonstrated a commitment to ongoing professional development and education, ensuring that he remains at the forefront of the ever-evolving healthcare landscape.
Director of Nursing Role
For nearly 15 years, Rick has served as a Director of Nursing, where he oversees patient care, manages nursing teams, and ensures the highest standards of assessment and care are met. His compassionate leadership style, combined with his extensive training, has earned him the respect and admiration of both colleagues and patients alike. Rick’s ability to blend experience with empathy has made him an exceptional leader, creating a supportive and effective healthcare environment for both staff and patients.

Dave brackett
Introduction
Dave Brackett has a passion for helping others in all aspects of their journey through life. His compassionate, caring approach, combined with his knowledge of the healthcare system, allows him to assist seniors with their healthcare needs. Dave has worked in various settings as a PTA for nearly 30 years. For the past 10 years he has been an Account Executive for two of the largest home healthcare agencies in the country. Dave is a veteran, serving in combat with the 101st Airborne Division. He has a loving wife of 34 years, two adult children and a labrador, named Jackson.
Qualifications and Certifications
Dave has a wide range of experience in healthcare starting with treating patients as a Physical Therapist Assistant to coordinating care for seniors as a Home Health Care Account Executive. In his years as an account executive, Dave has been instrumental in setting seniors up with nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology service and social work services in their homes. Dave has also worked with seniors and their families to ensure their loved ones were getting hospice care in their homes, when appropriate.
Owner/Operator of Wellness Center
For nearly 20 years Dave owned and operated Healthworks Wellness Center. The practice was an extremely successful wellness center that provided services such as acupuncture, physical therapy, and massage therapy. With a wide range of certifications in physical therapy, Dave has the ability assess seniors for their physical therapy needs, which contributes to ones overall independence and the best quality of life!
Community Impact
Dave works closely with many senior groups including, but not limited to, assisted living residents and staff who provide care for them. Focusing on categories such as fall prevention, disease management, and assistance with navigating the complexity of insurance and utilizing their healthcare benefits to the fullest extent. Dave has a profound history of success in guiding seniors and their families in healthcare advocacy as well.
